does nayone know the VA address for return of tne materials under the 3 day return window? cannot locate RSI, RCI, or Paradise Escape in Reston VA - need today

follow on to my prior - do know the return for Divine Getaways material is Reston, VA - didn't know that there is a $50 restocking fee or a $100 fee for non return of the binder!! - if you know the Reston, VA address please let me know as i apparently misplaced that somehow - thank you

I read you e-mail response and my wife and I got scammed into joining this group. I wish I had read this website information prior to attending their meeting at the Holiday Inn in Washington D.C. I hope you find a way to put these guys out of business once and for all.

My wife and I tried to get our money back from them but to no use. They did respond to us in a letter and basically said to bad you signed a contract and therefore you have no legal recourse, However, they stated that we could resell of membership or use the service, but there is no way we are going to get the money we paid them.

I have contacted the BBB but I don't know if I should pursue an attorney a sue them in court. Thanks for reading

info for all - in the unfortunate event that someone does buy into this and wants to cancel - the 3 day period during which cancellation is legally permitted requires written notice ( letter postmarked within the 3 day period ) to Divine Getaways, 12020 Sunrise Vally Drive Suite 100 Reston VA 20191 - suggest using certified mail with tracking # to provide confirmation of your request -

This is a follow up email to my 05/16 post. My fiance and I called our credit card company to file a dispute. The dispute rep told us to follow the cancellation process to the exact instructions. We wrote a letter to cancel our contract within the three days and mailed it with certified tracking. We checked the tracking within two days and the letter was received, but haven't heard back from anyone regarding our credit back to our credit card. Our dispute with the credit card company is still pending. We lost hope in getting our money back through Devine getways, but hope our credit card will approve our dispute. Devine Getaways said they would contact us within 7 business days to activate our membership and provide us our membership #, but never heard back. This is a valid reason to believe all of this is a scam. This is such a headache for us!

I never joined....but, I'm doing the free cruise. Sent in my 183.00 for 2 people to activiate my vacation....hahahaha, scam, now I have to send the next set of postcards with more money...jump thru hoops and then the next set of correspondences will arrive.....DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING THIS COMPANY HAS TO OFFER. I'm not going to buy into any of this krap....getting my 183.00 back from them. They want you to play a game with activation fees and certified mailings....do you think it's real or a scam ??

My wife and I received the Complementary Cruise Card and went to the seminar in Sacramento, Saturday June 4th. After we listened to the presentation I told them I could not buy their program as I have timeshares that I cannot get rid of now. The presenter who went by the name Bill Tatum told me that their percentage of successful timeshares sales is 85% as they have a program in Europe where they are buying timeshares up very fast. I told him that based upon the sale of my timeshares I would buy his program and I did. After giving him my credit cards and signing up I noticed that the authorized representative who signed the contract had only a first name printed so I asked for a business card and did not get one. I also noticed that there was no address for Devine Getaways anywhere in the paperwork so I asked Bill Tatum for a business card and he told me that he didn't have one. Once at home I found this site and felt like an ediot for believing these people. I could not reach a person when calling the number they gave me for the Timeshare. Couldn't do anything Sunday but this morning I sent a notorized Notice of Contract Cancellation at the Post Office, return receipt requested. The law is that we can cancel any contract within the 3-day Cooling Off Rule. I still feel stupid!

***Who has phone numbers for these folks??? I need to call them and only see one number listed on their brochure, it goes to a voice mail*** WTF

Ok folks, listen up.. !! This is bigger than all of us ... We need to have these people investiaged by some TV Station news... either Nightline ... or 20/20 ..they have their own ways of following scams of this sort until they can make an arrest. I have zillowed their address and it looks like they are working from a residential home office...which means someone is laughing all the way to the bank and hasn't been caught as of yet . the phone number is bogus,...some person answers 'hello' ... RED FLAG i say ! This is a job for the news station who investigates this sort of scam that moves from state to state...just like the 'NIGERIAN'..type scammers..

Please call your local TV Station and somehow they will direct you to the bigger people...

These people need to stop stealing from hard working people like us !! and get a real job...or go to jail..do not stop go..go directly to jail !!

for those that use a credit card to 'join' - after sending 3 day cancellation contacted my CC Company and reported 'scam' - they agreed to pursue DG and write off the CC debit - great news - hope that help others who feel for this group of 'gypsy' scam artists - interesting that the address for DG is possibly a residence per a post above - this outfit needs to be reported to the State Atty Generals for fraudulent business practices and misrepresentation of the facts and conditions of membership...

I'm contacting my local TV station, they do wonders for the public...will keep everyone informed. Should hear back from them in 3-5 days, they're busy guys checking out fraud companies. Valerie

charges to credit card last week @ San Rafael CA show billed to 'Paradise Escape' ( Not DG) at the same address as in Reston VA as listed for Divine Getaways - the Reston office is a 'no strings' rental ( by the week or month for legit address and "turnkey" office space - fully furnished office, shared conf room & lobby )

Enough to provide the appearance of legitimacy but we know better - can anyone in Reston get a hold of a TV station or radio customer protection contact to unmask this fraud?
