Timeshare Advocacy International

Dec 01, 2010

the timeshare french quarter in Branson was purchased by Southwind Mgt. Corp in Jan. 2007, Southwind is the new mgt. and owners of French Quarter. Southwind Mgt. advised that they had nothing to do with the frauldent sales in the purchase of French Quarter prior to their management. Since the letrers were written to new owners, Southwind, mgt.. they advaised that had nothing to do with the fraulent french quarter sale in may 2006, I still have the the french quarter under new management, however, TAI, wants to keep the $1,995 when no cancellation took place.

Has anyone ever used Advocacy in the Orlando, Florida area. They contacted me out of the blue and said they thought that at one time I may have paid a fee to a timeshare real estate agent and wanted to know if I was successful in obtaining the refund of $875. I was not. Then they, Advocacy, persuaded me to be talked into an advance payment of $316 without any guarantee that they would be success in collecting the $875. I concurred and gave them my credit card, but I do have a chance to return the documents when they once arrive by UPS within 48 hours and they will refund me the fee of $316 providing I do not break the seal on the large envelope which holds a raft of documents that I must use in communicating with the fraudulent agent, Resales Buy Owner.com Inc. Am I entering into another scam after being stupid enough to allow myself to get scammed for $875????

I hate t spoil your insight, and will provide the rest of the story. After six months of dispute, i read the contract again, The contract written up by tAI,LLC was for a firm called Forever Grand Vacations, and I had no ownership in this firm. Result, TAI did not even type of the contract for a timeshare unit. Since there was not a valid contract, how could TAI keep the $1,995. for something the office staff was too stupid to draw up. ok, don't believe me, read the BBB report in nashville, ONE complaint, and administrative closed, also, write the Tenn. Attorney General and ask if there are any complaints against TAI, and if you really would like the Visa comments, I could also see that one could receive this, For the 28 pages of advertising on timeshareaid, one would believe TAI was a professinal firm. well, far from it.

Call Sean Austin and ask him about the contract that his staff wrote up for a firm called Forever Grand Vacations in Branson, Mo. I supplied a copy to VISA, and they agreeded and refunded the $1,995, I know you won't believe that either. Finally a credit card company that is on the buyers side.

the reply came from an employee of TAI. WRONG, I live in Kansas. From Your reply, you must be an employee of TAI, How come Sean CEO of TAI, refuses to pay back the $1,995 to Pay pal. His firm typed up a contract for a Vacation Club and I do not own a vacation club, I call the imcompetence. ,

ceo Sean Austin, location Mount Juliet, TN. yes, entered into a contract cost of $1,995 for TAI,LLC to cancel a timeshare contract. When the CEO of the timeshare replied that they are considering legal action against me, I requested clancellation of the contract. in my complaint with the Tennessee Attorney Generall, S. Austin's reply called me every name that could be printed, bottom line, All TAI method is for a series of "refocation letters" to be sent ot the timeshare company "certified mail" at YOUR Expense. However, after 6 months of letters to Commerce Bank, St.,Louis Mo, The CEO of Visa advised that the realized the scam that I was in and credited my visa account to Zero. WOW, this is about the only credit card account that has real folks that listen to the problem and realize that TAI was incorrect in all of their "stories"

I am considering entering into a contract with them. I need more information that confirms what you are stating. Is there anywhere I can go that can verify this is a scam. Or do have you learned of a company that can actually help get you out of your timeshare. Please help me

If they demand a large upfront fee then it's a scam. The only legal way to get out of timeshare ownership is to sell it or give it away.

I sure wish that I could print the reply that Sean Austin wrote to the Tennessee Attorney general. He indicated that i was rude, etc, and I did not followed their directions. Be sure to ask what he reply was when tom Williams, ceo of Southwind address a certified letter to me and advaised that If I continued to send those revocatons letters to his firm in S.C., that they would consider legal action againt me. Ask Mr. Sean Austin CEO, of TAI, what he replied was"""" exactly right, NOTHING :

Kudos to you for doing your homework concerning timeshare scams. If your timeshare is paid off you can possibly give it away by listing it in the Bargain Basement area of Redweek which is what many people are doing that just want out from under yearly maintenance fees and possible special assessments.

your reply sounds likie a political speech. One can read all of the comments by the Tennessee Attorney General that did absolutely NOTHING excep repear the accuations by TAI. ALL TAI does iw wirte what they Call "letters of revocations and I had to pay to send them certified mail, and call the firm every week. and TAI even drew up a contract for a firm that I did not even OWN. Read the BBB report where they were accused of attempting to use the BBB logo without payiong for it. The sure do a lot of advertising on line, etc in order to obtain business.

Sean Austin, last year about april, you are not in the business of cancelling timeshare ownership after your were paid $1,995. the contract that YOUR STAFF wrote up was for Finst orever Grand Vacations , a vacation club in Branson. I do not have any OWNERSHIP in a firm called forever Grand Vacations. Your concept of writing revocaiton letters to a timeshare called French Quarter did not even begin to be effective. anyone can write these types of letters at their own expense. Question, When do you plan to return the $1,995 that you charged me for when you were attempting ot cancel a Non existance contract with a vacation club instead of the French Quarter, Those were really good stories that you wrote to the Tennessee Attorney General about this case, and how about using the BBB logo without even paying for it. . just look up the record. still waiting for the $1,995. return.

SHILL ALERT !!

So if anyone claims to have had a contract cancelled you call them a SHILL, after reading some of your posts I see what a SHILL is. You seem like a SHILL for the timeshare industry. If everyone on this site takes your advice they are stuck.

I had one cancelled, I am not a SHILL I was a victim of a web of lies your buddies at Bluegreen wove around me.

People, think for yourselves, I used a company to have a contract cancelled. I will not name the company, it's up to you to do your own homework. Just know these clowns are not giving you the whole story.
