Can't even give them one star
*also note I have the original contract here with me stating I owe $10,900 with an insane 15% interest rate ending up at a total of 20k.* God if only I realized wtf I was signing I would have smacked myself and that Keither Cluett and Riccardi Philip and Tony Conti. Fk em all.

It is a matter of public record on July 9, 2012 in Virginia's Henrico County General District Court a Judgement was filed AGAINST Club Land'or for 25K plus 6% interest until paid. As of today, they have not paid any amount of these damages. Wonder what that means other than the 6% keeps accuring.

I would like to join your group. I have sent letters from my attorney indicating that I want out of my contract because of breach of service promised from them. However, before just relinquising the Time-Share I think a class action lawsuit should be waged to get some of the money back because now that the word is out they can't be sold. As a matter of fact, I call a Time-Share company that sales time share and they would not take Club Landor. Call me if you need to, I'm serious about the law suit. My number is 917-991-3276. I would have my attorney do this but I think it better done by an attorney in the area.

9-19-12 Please contact me at christinelolsen@hotmail.com if you are interested in joining our group to learn how to be released from your contract with Club Land'or Nassau. To begin: You will need to send a complete pdf copy of your contract.
Christine O.
Please give me any information that I can use in court because I know that will be the next step since I have refused to pay any more fees. I just received an angry call from a collection company in California and was told I would be sued in court if I did not pay. Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated. My email is bmbarbour@cox.net

I'm copying info written in August as stated on previous page from Christine. You will need to follow these directions to get involved with a group that shares information about efforts to be released from contracts and has the same common interest as you.
Anyone else out there who wants to come aboard, please contact me and tell me your name, address & phone number and I will need to see your contract. PDF is easy (and a few other things:) It's not all that scary, so send me an e-mail!!!!! Thanks, Christine
Her e-mail is christinelolsen@hotmail.com

Tyle, If you would like to join the group you must first contact Christine at christinelolsen@hotmail.com. There is a protocol that must be followed.

For what it's worth we received a letter one day out of the blue (about two months ago maybe?) from Club Land'or telling us that they were cancelling any further charges on our account and that our membership was effectively terminated - hmm, how 'bout that? We've not spoken to them or anyone about it since. It was definitely a Godsend for which we are very thankful. I wish I could tell you exactly what we did to reach that resolution but perhaps there is hope for those of you who are continuing to battle. Best wishes all. Chuck

Chuck - Be careful and reread the letter. Does it say the contract has been voided and you no longer have any financial obligation to pay. From your post it sounds like you no longer have "membership" benefits as in you are denied use of any rental weeks and you can not make charges on their account. What is the real meaning of the letter? Did you respond with a letter as to your interpretation of it's meaning or if the issue came up later on oweing something in the future that letter would prove in a court of law you do not? Not sure , just another way of looking at the meaning. Good luck to you as well.

FYI I sent club ripoff a letter stating that they should stop calling me for payments. That i was prepared to go to court. For them to file an action against me as I wanted to go to D.C. Anyway. They called and offered to void my membership for about $500. I think. May even have been less. This was a couple of years ago. I was supposed to keep quiet about the "settlement" . Just stop making payments. PERIOD. Let them threaten you all they want.

Chuck,
Take KT's advise and follow up on the offer CLO made to you. CLO is known for misrepresenting themselves, no let me rephrase that, misleading, nope that not the right way to say it, speaking with forked tongue... that's better. Make sure what you believe was offered to you is correct, get it clarified in writing...

Help! We've owned at Land 'or since 1987. We are play by the rules people and we ALWAYS pay our bills. Now we're beyond frustrated and angry. Our maintenance fees are now over $1000 annually. This does not include the "special assessment fees" we are charged a couple of times per year. We have not been able to figure out (like most of you) how to give this poor purchase away! We have paid and paid and paid! We just received another "special assessment fee" for $799.
Does anyone know what happens if we refuse to pay this? I don't want our credit ruined, but I'm really thinking I'M DONE!
