We're in Penny. My husband and I lost money too. I have lots of documentation. What's the next step?

waiting on your response.

I saw your post concerning that company on one of the scam websites .... you wrote, "they took my husband and myself for 29,000 and would keep telling us that we were going to receive 120,000 in our bank acct".

That right there should have raised a big red flag with you .... no one can turn $29,000 into $120,000. Also did you sign any kind of contract? If so, it's what's in that written contract that will hold up in a court of law .... not what some salesman told you verbally. There's an old saying, "if a timeshare salesman moves his lips, they are lying".

Also, you might report them to the Attorney General of Illinois ... in most cases you can do this online.

Oh, I'm not going to give them any money. I gopogled the address and it is a large office building. I've emailed a list of questions and asked for references. I haven't heard from them. By the way, Ventureequityservices.com is identical to american equity website site.

Their story about representing a large pharmaceutical company looking to buy up a large block of weeks sounds a little far fetched to me. I'm going to ask them to show me their contract as the agent, and then send me earnest money. ha ha--yeah, I know scams are not funny, but after all of the questions I asked, I don't expect to hear from them again.

Thanks again for the additional information on these scammers.

Corporations (including pharmaceutical companies) DO NOT buy timeshares.

I have also been scammed. Venture Equity Services, Newport Trust Group, and Riverside Closing Trust. I lost and lost. They are well organized and evil. I am reporting to IC3 and Attorneys General in every state listed on the documents. Have the banks recall the wire transfers. It is worth the bank charge. I doubt that we can retrieve anything but it will alert the banks that they are passing funds to fraudulent accounts in Mexico. Our money is gone but we can share our stories and our list of names and addresses. Lets get busy.
