Leery about listing to sell. How much and how long did it take you to sell your timeshare.

John is more than likely a shill for that scam company .... I've never even heard of it and I've been reading and posting on timeshare forums for 12+ years and previously owned several timeshares, but new timeshare scams pop up everyday.

Im not sure about this co. However there are some shiesters out there. The fact of the matter is if you're thinking of selling your timeshare, it is going to cost you money to obtain a lawyer who is going to charge you a retainer fee, which of course is upfront, I've sold 2 of my timeshares previously and the best advice is to just see if the person your speaking with knows the legal process in which a transfer of deed requires. Whether you are selling or merely giving the timeshare away, it's going to cost money, typically up-front. Hope this helps.

You do not have to retain a lawyer in order to sell a timeshare. You can list your timeshare for sale on any of the timeshare ad sites such as Redweek and use a reputable timeshare closing company to handle the paperwork (ie: www.timesharetransfer.com or www.legaltimesharetransfer.com) and other reputable closing companies..

The only time a lawyer has to be involved in a closing is in states which demand it (ie: SC) and a few other states.
