I was referred to the same company & refused to pay the upfront fee so they said that they would take it out at closing. Never heard from them again

My boyfriend owns at PBSB. We are headed there today (whoo hoo!). Last year they tried to upgrade us to a 2 bedroom and it was very expensive. We would like to be able to take the kids. If we purchase a resell, do we take over the the maintenance fees? Are they the same for everyone? Is there someone we can talk to if buy a resell regarding how it all works?

If you purchase a resale you would take over the maintenance fees. They vary only by the unit size. Harold, We bought executive in 2005 for around $15,000. We have paid our fees ahead of time, we have brought donations for the schools and hospitals and can’t get a lawn chair at the pool! We pay the platinum fee when we check in too. The staff treats the “hotel guests” better than the owners. We are paid up for 2025 and I think I have had enough of not getting a room, and not being able to get a lawn chair when half of them are empty! I would like to sell. Our contract is for 100 years. Eighty years remaining.
