Do's and Don'ts while in Aruba

Agree - Just got back from Ocean Club and it is less crowded than the Surf Club. They have different colored towels for each resort. We saw them enforcing the people from the Surf club having to go back to their beach. Believe Ocean was green and Surf was blue....

Very nice place either place you stay... just one is more crowded.

The Ocean Club is s smaller resort with wider ocean front and less busy and crowded. The Surf club has the same beach but it is more crowded. However, the Surf club has both a lazy river and a water slide that the Ocean Club does not. Surf Club also has an Adult only pool which is quiet. The rooms in both resorts are nice as Marriott usually is.

Aruba is a unique Island. The weather is perfect all the time. You picked a place that you will return. If you like to eat, enjoy the beautiful beaches and even dabble in some gambling, then Aruba is the place. There's never a rush to do anything and the locals are always eager to help you enjoy the Island's attractions. Everyone raves about the food and they are correct. Enjoy!!!

The best area to stay in is the Low-Rise area. Eagle Beach, Punto Brabo, Divi Beach. No question. Acres of sand for far less people. But people who like high-rise hotels and US franchise restaurants and shops will still flood that little strip by the Marriotts. That's just fine with the rest of us. We try to avoid "all-inclusive" deals. Seriously? There are hundreds of lovely, affordable Aruban restaurants. Give back to the local economy! I guarantee you'll come back, time and time again. Aruba Beach Club is not related to the massive Marriot complex. Couldn't the blog admin remove these errant posts? ABC is a casual, family-friendly resort on the largest beach in Aruba. It is self-managed and incredibly well cared for, the oldest RCI timeshare in the carribean. ENJOY!
