I was looking for the email address and assumed the email address Tim had for Lynn was a TMC business address which should be public knowledge...I will figure it out. Thank you!

I am an owner since 1999 and just visited Manhattan Club and asked the front desk for any information. They provided me with contact information:
Eric Yaverbaum President Ericho Comunications 6465075803.
Apparently Mr. Yaverbaum represent Mr.Eichner through his Continuum INC.
Does anyone have any information regarding this contact and whether Mr. Yaverbaum can provide any credible information

I gave my timeshare back for $100...haven't seen the money or final papers yet due to the NYAG's investigation which put a stop to any and all transactions in the works in Jun 2014. You can ask Lynn O'Donnell if there is a buyback list. At the time I gave my timeshare back TMC wasn't buying back anything. However, perhaps the new management might.

Well, guess I'll request the list, I was selling my timeshare but the buyer backed out when we found out about the lawsuit, they didn't want any trouble with a new membership(new to them), I mean I wouldn't either. My wife called a couple of weeks ago trying to give the membership back but they refused to do so, any ways is worth the attempt.

hi marios64,
here's my take on GIVING BACK OUR SHARES IN THE MANHATTAN CLUB:
GIVE BACK UNDER THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES: 1. you are financially unable to keep up with the exorbitantly high maintenance fees. 2. you try to make desirable reservations but that rarely takes place. 3. you prefer accommodations other than TMC because you dislike the place. if you fit into any of the above categories, GIVE YOUR OWNERSHIP AWAY (RELUCTANTLY, IN MY OPINION.)
OTHERWISE: DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT GIVING AWAY SOMETHING OF INHERENT VALUE IF YOU DO, EICHNER WILL PROBABLY GET A PIECE OF THE ACTION THROUGH SOME FORM OF HIS BRILLIANTLY ADVISED LEGAL WRANGLING. EICHNER IS AN INCREDIBLY BRIGHT AND AGGRESSIVE BUSINESSMAN. HE SURROUNDS HIMSELF WITH THE BEST ADVISORS AVAILABLE AND USUALLY COMES OUT UNSCATHED. (THE RESULT OF THE RECENT LEGAL PROCEEDING: NYSAG VS EICHNER/TMC, SEEMS TO POINT THAT OUT. he was fined $6.5m (a pittance in reference to the number of owners who would benefit from it) and the fact of his being barred from further timeshare business. ha, that would be easy for him to circumvent. he could easily set up a dummy company and be right back in the timeshare industry if he chose to do so. if you can afford the maintenance fees, can make reasonably suitable reservations, and think that TMC has what you like....e.g, location, suite/studio accommodation, KEEP IT AT LEAST UNTIL YOU ARE MADE AWARE OF WHAT THE LAWSUIT SETTLEMENT WILL BE AND WHO WILL BE THE NEW OWNERS.
the statements above are strictly my opinion........................... even though i oppose the rising, exponentially exorbitant maintenance fees (it's somewhat of a challenge to keep up with the raises), sometimes don't have issues with reservations, and i think TMC's location is nearly perfect. OBVIOUSLY, I'M TEMPORARILY KEEPING MY TMC SHARE (2 WEEKS).
think about it. perhaps a new owner will be MORE CONSIDERATE REGARDING THE ABOVE NEGATIVES. WE OWNERS DESERVE A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER HAVING BEEN DUPED, SCAMMED, LIED TO AND DEFRAUDED BY EICHNER AND HIS COHORTS. keep in touch.

Got this email 3 days ago from Lynne at The Manhattan Club after inquiring about settlement.
"Jim, they settled back in August however we still are in a holding pattern unable to do anything. I am only assuming the attorneys are working out all the details." Lynne

In the past my husband and I have been quite disturbed about the rising maintenance fees but have managed to pay them and get dates we liked if we booked 9 months ahead. Having to book so far in advance is incredibly inconvient and we have sometimes had to forfeit the days. Originally we looked into Redweek as a way to recoup some of the maintenance fee and we came across this group which I have been following for quite some time.
We just tried to make reservations. I checked and found the nights were available through Trivago. We then called member services and were told they were not available to us. They said they were the rental units and we are owners.
We have not paid our maintenance fee for this year yet because it is not due and because we understood from reading that it is advisable to try to make reservations before paying.
Any advice would be helpful. In addition paying the fee this year will be extremely difficult for us.
