This week brings our final installment in our Top 25 series, and we end it with the most exotic pick on our lists – Aruba. Sunny skies, turquoise waters and classic Caribbean culture make Aruba many a vacationers’ favorite pick when seeking out a tropical getaway. As such, its no surprise that Aruba has since become home to a host of breathtaking resorts. Which ones have captivated RedWeek members? Let’s find out!
Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club
Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club is one of RedWeek’s most active resort pages, typically boasting several hundred postings at any given time. It’s not hard to see why – classic Marriott luxury is a perfect match for sun-soaked Palm Beach, Aruba. With one, two and three bedroom villas – each with a private balcony and complete kitchen – the Surf Club has the perfect accommodations no matter your group size. The Surf Club’s location is also ideal for exploring the entire Palm Beach area – be sure to check out Red Sail sports for water sports, the Ayo and Casibari rock formations and the Stellaris Casino at the nearby Aruba Marriott Resort!
Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club
Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club is considered the sister resort to the Surf Club, and certainly lives up to the comparison. The Ocean Club has been described as being a bit more “relaxed” than the high- energy Surf Club while still maintaining many of the perks. Fully equipped one and two bedroom villas provide plenty of room for rest and relaxation, but during the day you’ll want to play! Enjoy private access to Palm Beach itself and be sure to take advantage of the on-site pool as well as the full-service spa.
Costa Linda Beach Resort
Our next pick brings us from Palm Beach down to the Aruban capitol of Oranjestad. The Costa Linda Beach Resort captures the spirit of Caribbean with one, two and three bedroom suites decked out in tropical colors and beachy accents. Amenities are exactly what you’d expect from such a gorgeous resort – winding pools, a dedicated spa and salon, tennis courts, a marketplace and a full gift shop. If that’s not enough, consider checking into the daily scheduled activities ranging from sports to dancing, crafts to games.
Playa Linda Beach Resort
The Playa Linda Beach Resort excels in blending the island backdrop of Aruba with all the comfort offered by a luxury resort. Surely, the grounds evoke the image of a tropical grove; palm trees ring the resort and the pool is filled with sweeping lines and rocky outcroppings as well as a waterfall. Mix a gorgeous atmosphere with the nearby attractions of Palm Beach and you’ve got the start to a great vacation. Water sports and piers dot the coast, and more inland lies a variety of unique shopping and dining opportunities, as well as two upscale malls.
