In light of our recently released Top 25 Timeshare Rental Resorts List, we’re going to spend the next few weeks checking out some of the top-ranking resorts by location. This week, we take a look at RedWeek members’ favorite resorts in Hawaii. With a total of eight separate properties making the list, we decided to cover four at a time to give a more in-depth look at what makes these resorts so desirable.
Based in Lahaina, Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club has long been a favorite among RedWeek members and boasts one of the largest rental posting counts of any resort. Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club carries a strong focus on relaxing and taking in all that beautiful Maui has to offer. Nestled right up alongside Ka’anapali Beach, the Ocean Club offers classic beachside fun as well a host of shopping and dining opportunities in the nearby Whaler Village. Perhaps the biggest draw of Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club is the 3.5 acre superpool complete with a water slide, waterfalls, children’s area and a poolside bar.
On the western shore of Oahu, Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club truly embraces the spirit of water; the resort is ringed by seven lagoons as well as countless waterfalls and fountains. A host of tropical gardens and native flora only enhance the hidden-paradise vibe of the Ko Olina Beach Club and lend a exotic feel to the property’s numerous pools and whirlpools, poolside bar and grill, full-service marina and wedding chapel. Situated just thirty minutes from downtown Honolulu, there’s plenty to keep any group occupied – snorkeling, windsurfing, sushi dining, helicopter rides and the staple favorite; lounging under the sun.
Tucked tightly against Ka’anapali Beach, The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas holds true to its namesake. With unparalleled views of the Pacific Ocean as well as the island of Lana’i and Moloka’i, The Westin Ka’anapali focuses on providing guests with luxury in one of Hawaii’s most beautiful getaways. The Spa Helani onsite is part of Westin’s Heavenly Spa chain and assures guests the utmost pampering, while one of the fully-equipped Westin Workout Centers keeps you feeling as great as you look.
Situated oceanside on Honolulu’s famed beach Waikiki, Hilton Hawaiian Village seeks to provide everything needed for the perfect Hawaiian vacation. There’s six pools and a waterpark, twenty separate restaurants and bars, scenic grounds with exotic wildlife and gardens, ninety boutiques and specialty stores, Mandara Spa and daily activities that range from hula lessons to giving surfing a shot – and it’s all onsite. Guests testify that getting away from the resort to experience the rest of the area is a challenge in and of itself!
This is only the first installment of many more to come in out Top 25 series! Check out next week’s post to get an in-depth peek at which other Hawaiian resorts made our list!
