What is the difference between ocean view and ocean front?

Typically, an oceanfront room looks directly out on to the ocean.

The ocean can normally be seen from an ocean view room, but there may be obstructions, depending on the floor or area a guest is placed in. It best to check with the resort directly about guaranteed views.

Always try and get Oceanfront. Ocean view can be back a bit and might require you to go on to your patio / balcony to see the ocean. Oceanfront is full on view looking over a few palm trees ( truly breath-taking). You can leave your windows open at night to clearly hear the ocean surf on Oceanfront.
